Nylon Bullwhips inspired by the adventures of Indiana Jones
These nylon bullwhips are inspired by the whips made by David Morgan for the iconic Indiana Jones movies. On screen, Dr. Jones always has his signature bullwhip by his side to help him get out of a tight spot. With one of Alex's whips, you can too!
The Explorer nylon bullwhip is perfect for Cosplayers who don't want to spend a lot of money on a whip that could be damaged at a convention, or for someone just starting out Cosplaying as Indy and wants a good looking whip for a reasonable price. These whips are also great for anyone who simply wants to get into whip cracking and desires to have, "a whip like Indy used," without having to pay a lot.
The Explorer line is made up of full sized bullwhips available in lengths from 6 to 12 feet (~1.8 m to ~3.6 m) long. The 6 to 9 foot (~1.8 to ~2.7 m) whips have two plaited bellies and the 10 to 12 foot (~3 to ~3.6 m) whips have three plaited bellies. All of these whips even have an 8" (~20 cm) spike in their handles, just like the whips David Morgan made for the movies. They come in colors inspired by the movies: Light Tan is similar to the whip seen at the beginning of, "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Coyote Brown is similar to the whip used in later scenes of "Raiders." Chocolate Brown and Rust are a great combination for the aged look of the whips in "Temple of Doom," and "The Last Crusade" as well as the whips in the newer movies. Other colors are available upon request.

The Jr. Explorer line is made for the Jr Indys out there! Its shorter length of 3 to 5 feet (~0.9 to ~1.5 m) is perfect for young Indy fans. They are lightweight, well balanced, and easy to crack. The 3 foot (~0.9 m) whips are 1/2 scale to the 6 foot (~1.8 m) full size Explorer whips.
They are great for youngsters who want to Cosplay alongside an adult Indy at a reasonable cost. They also make great Halloween costume accessories. Or just as a present for any young Indy fan who wants to have a whip similar to Indy's.
The Jr. Explorer line comes in three sizes: 3 foot (~0.9 m) long, 4 foot (~1.2 m) long, and 5 foot (~1.5 m) long. They have one plaited belly and come in the same colors as The Explorer line. Other colors are available upon request.
Currently I offer four styles of Explorer and Jr Explorer whips that are inspired by the Indy movies.
Raiders style
Comes in Light Tan (also available in Coyote Brown for a slightly darker look)
Inspired by the whip used by Indy at the beginning of the first movie, "Raiders of the Lost Ark."
These whips are made with Light Tan paracord and look similar to the first whip seen in the movie.
This style is also available in Coyote Brown for a slightly darker look as seen in the Cairo scenes.
Doom style
Comes in Rust Brown with Chocolate Brown highlights
Inspired by the whip from, "The Temple of Doom."
These whips are made with Rust Brown paracord and have a Chocolate Brown transition knot and wrist loop.
They look similar to the whip used in the movie.
Crusade style
Comes in Rust and Chocolate Brown with Chocolate Brown highlights
Inspired by the whip used in, "The Last Crusade."
These whips are made with Rust and Chocolate Brown paracord with Chocolate Brown transition knot and wrist loop.
I go heavy on the Rust color with these to get as close to the look of the movie whips as I can with paracord.
Skull / Destiny style
Comes in Chocolate Brown and Rust with Acid Dark Brown highlights
Inspired by the whips used in the last two movies, "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and "Dial of Destiny"
These whips are made with Chocolate Brown and Rust paracord with Acid Dark Brown transition knot and wrist loop.
I go heavy on the Chocolate Brown with these to try and match the look of the whips from the last two movies.

As with all my whips, it comes with three (3) extra crackers. The cracker is the part that actually breaks the sound barrier and makes a whip pop, or crack. So it will wear out over time and need to be replaced on occasion.
A word of WARNING: This is a REAL whip and can hurt you or someone nearby if not used with caution. ALWAYS use proper eye protection when using this whip. DON’T let young children play with this whip without proper adult supervision. Whips in general are NOT recommended for indoor use, but my small whips (micro-snake whips and mini-bullwhips) could be used in a garage, or other small environment as long as precautions are taken to prevent damage to nearby objects. When using it, make sure you have plenty of room around you, the whip could accidentally wrap or impact nearby objects and/or people which could cause harm or make them fall and/or otherwise get broken.
