12" long Kevlar Replacement Poppers/Crackers. Bundle of five (5) black crackers 12" long (9" twist / 3" tassel)
(1 bundle of 5 Kevlar popper/crackers for all types of whips)
Size: 12-inch (9-inch twist, 3-inch tassel).
Material: Kevlar thread - 0.8mm diameter, 100 lb test
3-strand popper/crackers work very well on longer types of whips (I have had very good results using them on all of my 6-foot and longer whips). And they work perfectly for large/long whips like 3-belly 10' and 12' whips.
In fact, these are the same cracker/poppers I include with all my 10-ft and longer whips. These whips are 3-belly whips and are heavier than average, therefore they need a tougher cracker to handle the extra power.
I have found that the 12” length of popper/cracker works well on medium and longer whips (most whips 6-ft and longer). However, if you prefer a different length (longer or shorter, more strands, or chainsaw for can cutting), I can make those as well. Please contact me and let me know what you would like, I would be happy to make them for you, just remember it might take me a day or so to complete your request.
When making these, I twist the string/thread (3 strands of .8mm Kevlar thread), and then I fold them in half. The results are that 3-strand popper/crackers have 6 ends in the tassel.
These are easily attached to the end of your whips fall and give a satisfying loud crack. They are strong, durable, and last quite a long time unless abused (like using them on concrete, asphalt, rocky terrain, etc...).
These Popper/Crackers are suitable for both paracord (nylon) and leather whips of all kinds that are 6-ft and longer.
Use them on Bullwhips, Stock whips, and more. The Popper/Crackers are there to take the brunt of the wear when a whip is used and require replacement as needed. Your whip will thank you.
Note: Color may vary from the pictures due to variations in screen resolution.
Since I make them in batches, there could be multiple shades of in one batch.
