Single Belly whips
Single Belly whips are the smallest and lightest whips made by Alex's Whip Shop. They come in sizes from 18 inch (~45 cm) to 5 feet (~1.5 m) long and are usually built as mini-bullwhips, snake whips, or signal whips. They include, but are not limited to, the Micro/Mini-Pocket Snake Whip line as well as the Jr. Explorer line. Also included in this type of whip through Alex's Whip Shop is a performance variant that is based on 4 foot (~1.2 m) and 5 foot (~1.5 m) long single belly bullwhips.
Alex has transitioned his builds on most single belly whips so that their overlay is finished in a Tapered Twist which ends with an integrated Fall. This design works great on these smaller whips because it does not have a Fall hitch to disrupt the flow of the whip during rollout. Which makes them easier to crack. The Jr. Explorer line is the exception because the Indiana Jones style whips are supposed to have a Fall hitch. The only other exception would be if a client insists on having a Fall hitch.
